1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by a browser so a website can retain information between visits. Similar technologies such as localStorage can store preferences without automatically sending data to a server.
2. What Webdiman uses
The current version stores language preference and light or dark theme in localStorage. These values remain in your browser and are used only to restore your preferred interface.
3. Technical services
The hosting provider and form service may use technical data strictly required for security, abuse prevention, and message delivery. Form data processing details are included in the privacy policy.
4. Matomo, measurement we host ourselves
Matomo loads only after you accept the Analytics category (or Accept all). It runs on our own servers at analytics.webdiman.com, so traffic data reaches no other company. Measurement helps us understand visited pages, general traffic sources, and website performance. Advertising and profiling remain disabled. After your consent, Matomo sets its own first party cookies: _pk_id, which recognises the visitor for 13 months, _pk_ses, which keeps the session for 30 minutes, and _pk_ref, which keeps the source of the visit for 6 months. If you withdraw your consent, we delete them at once.

5. Google Analytics and Google Ads
With your consent we also use Google services, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Without consent none of them is loaded.
The Analytics category enables Google Analytics 4, which measures visited pages and requests sent through the form. It may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited.
The Marketing category enables Google Ads: it measures requests that come from our ads and allows relevant ads. It may set cookies such as _gcl_au and _gcl_aw. Without this consent we do not use Google Ads for measurement or personalised ads.
We pass your consent signals to Google through Google Consent Mode v2, so each service respects your choice. Data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area under Google's standard contractual clauses. Details in Google's information about partner sites.
6. Controlling preferences
Your Analytics and Marketing choices are stored locally in the browser. You can change them at any time using the Cookie preferences button in the website footer. When you withdraw a consent, we delete the cookies of those services. You can also clear the website data from browser settings; after clearing it, the website will ask for your choice again.
